I mean in 1998 I was playing two things: Ocarina of Time and Baldur's Gate. I beat Ocarina of Time in a few weeks but I played Baldur's Gate for the next 4 years, trying with different characters and replaying it over and over. And once I got Baldur's Gate 2, I invested just as much time into that one. Two of the greatest RPG's ever created. Another RPG classic that seems to have been missed by everyone is Chronocross. I actually liked it more than Chronotrigger. You can find it pretty cheap at older game stores.
