In an interview with Famitsu, series producer Yoshinori Ono revealed specifics on what we can expect for the upgraded version of Street Fighter IV. Ono stressed that the aim for the online system will mimic the live arcade tournaments such as Enterbrain’s recent Tougeki Tournament. To be included are online match viewing , and upgraded game replay viewer featured with the Championship Mode dlc which was released a few months after release.
Ono also mentioned that there will be few new original characters to be added to the already popular Juri. Those who bought the downloadable costumes will be transferable and they will be new ones to come for the additional characters in the game. Super Street Fighter IV is currently in development and its target release is sometime spring 2010.
