In their annual survey, Greenpeace has once again highlighted Nintendo as the most environmentally unfriendly electronics company. Greenpeace has scored Nintendo a 1.4 out of 10 in chemical, e-waste and energy policies with their Japanese manufacturer scoring zero on e-waste and for not following their commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with last year being their second year increase. As for other gaming companies Microsoft has scored a 2.4 while Sony has scored a 5.1. If we look at the electronics industry as a whole Apple, Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Toshiba are the most eco-friendly with HP slightly trailing behind.
