L.A. Noire No Longer PS3 Exclusive

Staff members from Gameinformer have confirmed long-standing rumors that Team Bondi’s film noire-stlyled mystery game L.A. Noire will release for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, instead of just on the Playstation 3 as we were led to believe in the past. In response to an article that revealed the Gameinformer cover for March 2010, which will include a feature on L.A. Noire, various Gameinformer employees stated the following:

“It’s not a PS3-exclusive. It was at one point, but it’s coming out for the PS3 and 360.”

“To be clear, this is NOT a PS3 exclusive.”

“Just to reiterate, it’s NOT a Ps3 exclusive anymore. It’s multiplatform.”

The game will feature the player solving a set of murders in a sandbox-style 1947 Los Angeles. The game is being developed by Team Bondi and will be published by Rockstar Games. It is scheduled for a release this year, though a specific release window is not available at this time. The article and comments in question can be found here.

Actually, I think it isn’t all THAT highly anticipated at this time, but that it will be pretty soon. At this time, there is not all that much info available… but I think that they will be hyping the shit out of this game at the E3.
