Sonic Adventure (the first one) was actually pretty good, but they even departed from that the with ludicrously horrid games like Sonic Unleashed and Sonic and the Black Knight. The idea of this being an arcade title with episodic DLC makes me kind of cringe. I'd much prefer a full game that I can buy at the store. I mean it's freaking Sonic the Hedgehog 4... not some spin off. Still... I am aware of the cycle posted, which is sadly quite accurate. I hope that they learned their lesson though. I honestly don't believe SEGA will let the followup to Sonic 3 fail. If it does, then this IP is truly dead. Also iPhone... over DS and PSP... /barf.
