LucasArts Signs Unreal Engine 3 Deal

Epic Games and LucasArts have announced a major, cross-studio licensing agreement with Unreal Engine 3. The multi-year deal has yet to manifest in any announced LucasArt release, but expect all games coming from the studio to utilize at least some portion of Epic tech.

Class-Action Lawsuit Filed over PSN Breach

Kristopher Johns, a resident of Birmingham, Alabama, has filed a class-action lawsuit on behalf of over 77 million Playstation Network users, claiming Sony failed to reasonably protect nonpublic and private information from external intrusion. ‘Portal 2′ is Valve’s Last Single Player-Focused Game

Although already 90% devoted to the multiplayer scene, Valve declared on Geoff Keighley’s “Final Hours of Portal 2” App that the puzzle shooter would be the last of its game not to include a dedicated multiplayer experience beyond simple co-op. The only other game in Valve’s dossier not to feature some multiplayer component is Half-Life.
