A deal between Microsoft and the parent company of South Park broadcaster Comedy Central, Viacom, have penned out a partnership for another Xbox Live Arcade exclusive game based on the animated TV brand. The news comes from 345 Games’ creative director Prithvi Virasinghe, who spoke with Joystiq recently about the deal. No confirmation on whether this is a new deal between the two corporations, or an extension of the deal that led to 2009’s South Park: Let’s Go Tower Defense Play! No details have been announced for the new game.

“Right now, South Park is actually in a first-party deal with Microsoft Studios, who published the first game, and they’re doing a second game as well,” Virasinghe said. “After that, that first-party exclusivity window expires, and we get a shot of taking that back.”
