ESRB Rates Crysis for Consoles

04 Jul, 2011

The ESRB has updated the listing of the original Crysis to also include Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. EA has refused to comment on the matter, though ESRB ratings generally suggest that a port of a certain is being prepared for release.

Crysis was released in November 2007 as a PC-exclusive first-person shooter. A sequel to the game was released for PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 earlier this year.

Similar to the PC version from 2007, the console versions are rated ‘M for Mature’, for blood, strong language, and violence.

The ESRB really needs to be more careful. This has to be the least fun way to find out about a new game…
