Not quite “Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark” numbers, but you can’t fault them for trying. The Associated Press recently reported on the injury of sixteen extras on the set of “Resident Evil: Retribution”. The actors – portraying a group of zombies – feel between two wheeled platforms during shooting in Toronto, Canada.
No fatal injuries were reported, although the special effects makeup and costumes made an immediate diagnosis difficult. Twelve of the sixteen actors were sent to the hospital. While no charges have been filed, Canada’s Ministry of Labor is following up with an investigation to cover all the bases.
