Family Party: 30 Great Games My wife loves me more than I thought. First she played through Trivial Pursuit with me. Now she played through Family Party: 30 Great Games with me. It’s going to be hard for me to write this review because I bitterly disliked FP:30GG, but I’m going to try to give the same time and consideration I would give any other game I chose to review for our readers. Here it goes. |

MadWorld Varrigan City has been taken over by terrorists. They’ve cut off all of the city’s connections to the real world. It is now the stage of the game show Death Watch, where the contestants must kill each other to survive. The surviving citizens of Varrigan City are now contestants in this brutal game. It is a mad world indeed, and you, Jack, must put an end to the madness by killing the competition as grotesquely and creatively as possible. |

Pikmin - New Play Control Nintendo, attempting to give gamers another chance at titles that many people may not have played during the Game Cube era, began a new line of games called New Play Control in 2008. New Play Control took prior Game Cube titles and fitted them with Wii remote-based controls like the 2001 classic Pikmin. This seven-year old game holds up to today's standards quite well, and with the Wii remote controls, your experience will be even better. |

Punch-out!! It's been fifteen years since the last Punch-out game was released, and fans have been clamoring for another shot at the title ever since. Next Level games, best know for their work on the Mario Strikers games, looks to deliver a shot of pure nostalgia into the eyeballs and fingertips of Punch-out fans, but how does the title fare for someone who has never stepped into the ring as Little Mac before? |

Resident Evil 4 After years in development, Resident Evil 4 was released to the Nintendo Game Cube on January 11, 2005, and was considered not only the best game in the franchise, but also one of the best games of all time. In 2007, after the game had already been ported to the Playstation 2 and the PC, the Nintendo published Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition. With all the features of the PS2 and PC versions, combined with Wii remote controls, the game is not just another RE4 port, but easily the best way to play the game. |

Sonic Unleashed The Sonic series has had its share of ups and downs...well, a lot of downs. While games like Sonic Rush and the Sonic Advance series brought some life back into the franchise, games like Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 show just how bad it can get for our spiky hero. Sonic Unleashed looked promising to bring Sonic back to solid ground with 2D/3D hybrid running stages. It's a great game...until you realize that only makes about a quarter of the whole game. The other 75%? Not so much. |

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World Have you ever been excited for a sequel to one of your favourite games only to find out after playing it firsthand you wish it never saw the light of day? Well, that’s the feeling I got after playing Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, the sequel to the popular Gamecube Japanese role-playing game Tales of Symphonia. |

Tenchu: Shadow Assassins Stealth games were made for me and I was made for them. I hope that doesn’t say much about my personal character, but there something I totally love about outsmarting my enemies, sneaking up on them and dispatching them without being noticed. It fills me with a sense of satisfaction that I don’t get while playing other types of video games. It’s almost adrenaline. So when I hear a stealth game has been released, I try to snatch it up as soon as possible. I give all of them a fair chance—even the abysmal Vampire Rain: Altered Species—hoping that I’ll discover a sleeper-hit. |

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 This year, sports games on the Wii have changed for the better with the release of Wii Motion Plus. The difference between Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 on the Wii and PS3/360/PC has been the inclusion of Motion controls on the Wii and traditional controls on the PS3/360/PC. Does Tiger Woods stand to give you a better experience of hitting the links or not? |

Trivial Pursuit As we tore open our gamefly envelope, we were both a little giddy with anticipation. It was board game night once again but none of the set up or cleanup! No arguing over the rules! No accusations of one person cheating at the game! No one stealing from the monopoly bank when the other person has their head turned to tending to the dog who is whining to go outside! All we had to do was pop in the game, get some snacks, pour myself a beer, grab a glass of wine for the wife and we were ready for a good time. |
