Much like Sony’s venture with Atari in publishing Ghostbusters for them, Sony has now made a deal with Codemasters to publish the game on PSP and PS3 in the PAL regions. However this time no localized and timed exclusivity is tied to the deal, meaning that Sony will simply publish their versions of the game, alongside the other versions on competing platforms.
With this and the recent deal with Atari, Sony seems to be in the middle of testing out a new strategy, while none of the games in question are or were expected to have huge sales, one can only speculate on what the next title will be.
What is the point in this… I’m confused by such moves.
Money, I assume with Sony publishing the games they take most of the profit.
