According to the board of Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC), Austrailia has once again denied the classification of Left 4 Dead 2 in their country. The three member panel once again states that the game announce be accommodated within the MA15+ rating classification:

…it was the Review Board’s opinion that there was insufficient delineation between the
depiction of general zombie figures and the human figures, as opposed to the clearly fictional
‘infected’ characters. This was a major consideration of the Review Board in determining the
impact of this game on minors

The OFLC has also publicized that they want video game ratings on the App store for the iPod touch and iphone stating,”I recently wrote to the [Commonwealth Censorship] minister regarding my concern that some so-called mobile phone applications, which can be purchased online or either downloaded to mobile phones or played online via mobile phone access, are not being submitted to the board for classification”

Apple spokesperson Fiona Martin response with “We do what the Australian Classification people tell us to do… If there is a legal requirement within Australia to do something, absolutely we would adhere to that requirement.” Currently the ESRB is backing up OFLC claim, but Apple has not responded as of late.
