Mercenaries Salem and Rios are back in their iconic hockey masks and full body armor to bring pain to whoever is stupid enough to cross their path. This time the game brings players moral decisions, custom masks, even more customizable weapon, and wider, more open maps to add to the immersion factor. Awesome.

Army of Two: The 40th Day is developed by EA Montreal and published by Electronic Arts.

  1. I’m still very much on the fence about this game. Yes, it looks like it can be a lot of fun, but so did the first instalment… which unfortunately failed to deliver entirely in my opinion.

Really gonna have to wait for the reviews to come in, even more so because there are so many games coming out these coming months and you can only play so many :)

  2. I played the demo last night. I gotta say, without a mic, I was a bit screwed. I need to remember to keep my mic charged at all times.

It was fun, but I’m not sure if I want to pay $50 for it. The first one dropped to $5 in a matter of MONTHS. I’m sure this one won’t be much different.

  3. Eh, i thought the demo was a lot of fun in hard (?) mode. Me and my brother were yelling at each other “clear!” (in english), “supressing fire!” (in english), “i’ll distract them, you cover me!” (in spanish, this one’s harder) and stuff like that and me made sure to give ourselves some bro love (this was in-game) so at least in split screen, it was a lot of fun. Now what the f was happening around us and why there were buildings blowing up everywhere was a complete mystery and it was buggersome to have to watch them blow up.

I’m buying it if it drops the price a bit and then some. Not sure it’ll ever be 5$ in Argentina, but maybe we can bargain a 25-30.
