In a recent interview, the IP-developer for games in Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy series stated that two new Tom Clancy titles have just gone into development. The statement was made in an interview with game industry magazine Control by Michiel Verheijdt, who was recently promoted to the position of IP-developer at the newly opened Ubisoft Luxembourg studio.

It is possible that Verheijdt is refering to the recently revealed Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which is being developed by Ubisoft Paris. Other major titles in the Tom Clancy franchise include Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell and EndWar.

  1. An actual quality successor to Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield would be awesome. Vegas sacrificed tons of realism by copying the Gears of War cover system, amongst other small but crucial changes. RvS is in my opinion the best FPS’s ever made for PC gaming that never made it big (thanks Counter Strike/Halo)… and personally I thought it was superior to the two mentioned games as well.
