The latest branch of Capcom’s attempt to reach out to outside (particularly Western) development teams to reinvigorate their franchises, it appears that Slant Six Games (SOCOM: Confrontation, Fireteam Bravo 3) will create the next Resident Evil. With an unsurprising focus on team-based gameplay, the tentative title for the game is Resident Evil: Raccoon City. No further details are known at this time, although an official announcement is expected by the year of the calendar year.
Well expect another shooter set in the universe of Resident Evil. I really wish the series would go back to survival horror, and much better ammo management where the game gave you very little ammo and you had to conserve or else suffer death. Well I guess we just have to sit and wait for more information about further development about this title.
