Ubisoft has confirmed that Beyond Good & Evil HD will be released for the Playstation 3 at an unspecified date in May. The news leaked when Sony announced the Playstation Plus deals for May, which included a 20% discount on the game. Until now, it was only known that the game would be released some point this year.
Beyond Good & Evil HD was originally released in 2003 for the PC, Nintendo Game, Playstation 2, and first-generation Xbox. The game was met with a very positive critical reception, though failed to reach commercial success. The HD-rerelease of the game was launched on Xbox Live Arcade in March earlier this year.
Though Ubisoft has confirmed that the game will be released in May, it has not yet issued an official statement regarding a specific date.
