The episodic maestros at TellTale have had a few major announcements in the past week. First, there is the inconvenient delay of the first episode of the Jurassic Park season, from later this month to sometime in the Fall. Those that pre-ordered the game will not only get a refund but a free copy of the TellTale game of their choice.

“The game’s mechanics and storytelling have come together in such a way that we see great potential,” said Dan Connors, TellTale CEO, “so much so that we feel we can push these elements to the next level if we spend some extra time working on them.”

Jurassic Park on the PC, Mac, and iOS will now launch day-and-day with the console version. The Xbox 360 version of the game, thanks to a new publishing agreement with Microsoft, will release as a boxed season similar to the studio’s enhanced PC versions. Due to the simultaneous nature of the launches, it is currently unknown whether this 360 box will be a voucher for a full season, or that TellTale will break tradition and not have an episodic release.
