Level-5, of Professor Layton franchise fame, has hired Yasumi Matsuno (Tactics Ogre, Vagrant Story) in an unknown role. Speaking with Famitsu (translated by Andriasang) Matsuno stated that he wished to work on more “compact games” with shorter development cycles, something geared more towards children. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino told the magazine that he and the Vagrant Story creator had been talks to work together for over a year, Matsuno being brought on board after final work on the PSP’s Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together had been completed.
