This year, October 17th marks the 10th anniversary of the original Devil May Cry‘s release in the States, and a celebratory bundling of the franchise’s first three games may be in the works. G4 reports an update to the ESRB listings for Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening to include the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 as available platforms.

No word on whether this could mean a simple HD-ifying of the action games, or something more along the line of 3 new Special Editions of each title. Devil May Cry‘s first three outings were bundled back in 2006 for the Playstation 2, in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the series.

What would you pay, if anything, to relive Dante’s bad-assness in HD, EGs? And how much extra would you pay for them to leave out Devil May Cry 2? Comment below!

  1. Thats pretty exciting. This is probably exactly what i need to pick up the series again and give it a full playthrough

    1. I could use such a bundle as I need a new Xbox 360 (if only to have an HDMI output and a bigger harddrive).

A PS3 bundle would also be nice as I still need that system and recently had to sell my PS2 editions of the game to pay bills.
