Sega is bringing of the most recognizable arcade racers into the digital generation, revitalizing Daytona USA for the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. While the company hasn’t confirmed which version of the game (Arcade, Sega Saturn, or Dreamcast) will be remastered, what is known is that whatever version gets HD-ified will also be expanded out into 16:9 widescreen. A Karaoke Mode has also been confirmed, for fans of the original’s eclectic soundtrack.

Daytona USA HD will feature four modes in total: Arcade, Survival, Time Trial, and Online Multiplayer for up to eight players. It’ll be available on PSN on October 25th for $10, and on Xbox Live Arcade on October 26th for 800 Microsoft Points. European players will get the game sometime in “late November”.
