Deadline.com reports that Josh Trank, the director of ‘Chronicle’ and the upcoming adaptations of the Spiderman’s ‘Venom” and a new ‘Fantastic Four” film, will also be directing a film based on Team Ico’s Shadow of the Colossus. It was not announced when the film can be expected to hit theatres. More details are included after the jump.
According to the report, Trank personally sought out the project as he is a fan of the Playstation 2-classic from 2005.
Producer Kevin Misher, who worked on ‘Public Enemies’, is also on board for the project. A writer has not yet been named.
Oh boy… This could go either way. Heres hoping that Josh is able to pull it off… He’s messing with a classic after all.
