From the makers of the Condemned and F.E.A.R. franchises comes a marriage of Tolkien’s seminal work of fantasy and the mod-cum-genre Multiplayer Battle Online Arena. Lord of the Rings: Guardians of Middle Earth will bring MOBA to consoles this Fall, focusing on 5 v. 5 competitive play with 20 playable characters from Tolkien lore. Supposedly, the game will also tie in with Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” in some capacity.
Lord of the Rings: Guardians of Middle Earth will release on PSN and XBLA this Fall, distributed by Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and developed by Monolith Productions.
