Initially “leaked” out in a Sega release schedule, an HD PS3 compilation of Yakuza 1 and 2 has been confirmed via Famitsu. The bundle, which collects the first two releases of the open-world gangster lifestyle simulator, is set for a November 1st release in Japan, a full month before the supposedly “leaked” date. In addition to the expected HD makeover, load times are being reduced, along with minor gameplay changes: like being able manage items while in the phone booth menu. An official reveal of the bundle (and hopefully a confirmation of a stateside release) is expected tomorrow.
