While Prey 2 is not canceled, as many have assumed since it was wiped off of Bethesda’s site back in August, the sequel to the 2006 FPS is in “development limbo”. According to a Twitter post by Nathan Cheever, designer at the game’s developer Human Head, “P2 hasn’t been officially canceled, only in limbo.” Since its surprising debut trailer at E3 2011, Prey 2 had already seen multiple delays before being labeled as “barely alive” by publisher Bethesda, leading to rumors of its cancellation.
