Telltale Games’ adaptation on DC Comic’s Fables series will begin this summer. The game was originally announced as Fables back in 2011, but has now been confirmed as The Wolf Among Us. IGN reports that main character the Big Bad Wolf (Bigby Wolf), who has been exiled to the real world, will be trying to keep fairy tale characters like the Three Little Pigs and Mr. Toad undercover in New York.
“Developing The Wolf Among Us based on the Fables universe has allowed our studio to build upon all of the hallmarks of what makes our episodic series so engaging for players,” Telltale CEO Dan Connors explained. “Through an evolution of our approach to choice and consequence, we can further explore the complexity of each and every iconic character in a universe rich with untold history from the darkest sides of the storybooks.”
The Wolf Among Us is set to arrive this summer on the PS3, Xbox 360, Mac and PC.
