Electronic Arts’ digital sales platform, Origin, now offers full refunds on EA games. Users are eligible for a refund within 24 hours of a game’s first launch. If the game has not been launched, users have seven days to apply for a refund, this is the same for those who have pre-ordered a game.
EA says that the policy, entitled “Origin Great Game Guarantee“, will “make things right if you decide the game you just bought didn’t live up to your expectations.”
“If something doesn’t work out – you aren’t riveted by the storyline, or sucked in by the action, or even just if the game doesn’t play well with your video card – we’ve got your back,” EA says.
