Techland has confirmed they are opening a studio in Vancouver, Canada called Digital Scapes Studios, VentureBeat reports. Former Radical Entertainment technical director, Marcin Chady will take the role of managing director at the new studio.
“Starting a studio in Canada opens up a wide range of new opportunities in the realm of game development,” Techland founder Pawel Marchewka said in a statement, in part.
The new studio will begin work immediately on “key elements” for Techland and Warner Bros. upcoming game Dying Light. A 12 minute gameplay walkthrough was also released earlier today.
