Sony has confirmed to Kotaku that PlayStation 4 users will be able to use either their real name or PSN ID to identify themselves on the console at launch.
Microsoft will also allow users to use their real names, but recently confirmed that option will not be available at launch. Sony has also said that people who use the real-name option for their account will still be able to play games with their nicknames/aliases. The PS4 is set to release on November 15th and the Xbox One will be out on November 22nd.
