A coded message from alloutofgum.com has been deciphered and posted by a user on the Duke4.net forum. The message reveals information about an alien race called the Kyrr, and their homeworld Kyrron which was twisted by a “mysterious and terrible force”.
“The king makes his next generation debut in Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction”, the message continues, in part. “A top-down action role-playing game for PC and PlayStation. Duke Nukem Kicks ass across planets in an unreal engine – powered galactic adventure to save the president from an apocalyptic alien threat. All new enemies, a neverbefore seen arsenal of devastating weaponry and series-first mechanics; including experience points and tech trees, will let Duke rip em a new one in a way he never has before.”
Series creator and 3D Realms co-founder Scott Miller has joined Interceptor Entertainment. In December it was reported that the studio was working on a “Top secret next-gen game for PS4 and PC” codenamed Project Ascender. The studio also developed the Rise of the Triad remake and ported several Duke Nukem games to iOS.
