343 Industries has offered Halo fans the first look at the remastered version of Halo 3: ODST and Halo 2 Anniversary map, Relic, which are coming to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Following the issues that plagued the launch of The Master Chief Collection, 343 announced that those who had played the collection before December 19th, 2014 would receive the Halo 2 map Relic as well as a remastered Halo 3: ODST free of charge.
“We’re really excited about how these are coming together to expand what Halo: The Master Chief Collection offers to fans,” 343 wrote, in part. “Additionally, our test and community teams have been running daily playtests on Relic to hammer on the map as much as possible. As we finish things up, we’ll be sharing much more and providing details on launch dates soon.”
