With the current release of Metroid Prime Trilogy released on August 24, bundling all 3 Metroid Prime games with Wii motion controls; Retro Studios have announced that they are currently working on an untitled project for the Nintendo Wii.
The new project may not likely be part of the Metroid Franchise, seeing Nintendo’s R&D1 Team and Tecmo’s Team Ninja currently working on Metriod: The Other M. CEO of Retro Studios states that, “I think Retro will always be associated with the Metroid Prime franchise and who knows, maybe we’ll do another one someday.” Metroid Prime Trilogy is currently on store shelves retailing at $49.99
I really want them to bring back the canceled Gamecube title Raven Blade.
Cool, they know how to make a great game on the Wii, so bring it on.
