Warner Home Video is releasing Halo Legends on Blu-ray day-and-date with the DVD release on February 9 next year. The blu-ray version will include several hours of exclusive special features and an overview of the halo universe up to the end of Halo 3. Halo legend is told across 8 episodes and has the same format as the Animatrix and Batman Gotham Knight with each episode ranging from 10 to 20mins.

Huh.
Is this confusion because the people who own a 360 won’t be able to watch it on blu-ray? Cause if it is, then this is ironic, and MS has dropped the ball once again by not having blu-ray support.
So, you have to buy a PS3 to watch a cartoon based on an Xbox/PC exclusive? WUT
I’ve seen a preview of one of these anime, and I was less than impressed. I love the Halo universe, so I might take a more detailed look once it’s out, but I think I’ll pass up on this one.
