In an attempt to get more players to shop at the Wii Shopping Channel, Satoru Iwata told investors that Nintendo would start testing a small handful of WiiWare demos some time before the end of the month.
Iwata admitted the market for WiiWare and DSi Ware is small, and that the Wii Shopping Channel is only viewed by people who already know what game they want.
Nintendo hasn’t made an official announcement yet, but is expected to shortly.
Finally, this has been needed since the beginning. They should also do Virtual console games if possible, you know, give them a 5 minute demo for a VC game and things will be golden.
