Super-Mario-Bros-Wii

If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Mario’s basic formula has remained practically unchanged for nearly 30 years, but with the monumental success it has received, it’s hard to fault for Nintendo for going with what works. New Super Mario Brothers Wii has become the latest Wii game to set a region record in Japan, with the 4-player sidescroller having the biggest first week of availability in the system’s history. Pushing 936, 734 units in just seven days, according to financial tracking group Enterbrain, beating the previous title-holder, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, by over 100,000.
