As of last year, a company called E-play supplied a deal with Wal-mart and Best Buy to get into the used games market and have tested it at selected locations. E-play has now announced that they have suspended their operations for both companies due to “underwhelming” impact and service will be “removed from the locations over the next few weeks”. Spokesperson of the company has also stated, “it is clear the used games business is not an easy one to execute” and haven’t worked for big box stores thus far.
