The Sly Collection, unveiled at the E3 last month, will release in November this year and cost $39.99. This price level is similar to the previous set of Playstation 2-era HD-remakes: the God of War Collection. For this price, users will receive HD-remakes of all three installments in the series: the original Sly Cooper and the Thieving Raccoonus from 2002, Sly 2: Band of Thieves from 2004, and Sly 3: Honor Amongst Thieves from 2005. All of these titles were originally released on the Playstation 2 and developed by Sucker Punch Productions, which is currently working on a second installment in the inFAMOUS franchise.
Sony indicated that the port is being handled by Sanzaru Games and will also include optional 3D and Playstation Move functionality. These motion controls can be used in a new set of mini-games that are being included in the games. It is currently unclear if the game will be playable with Playstation Move in its entirety.
More information regarding these mini-games, as well as a definitive release date, will be announced in the near future.
