Despite having been delayed for several days, the multiplayer beta for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has gone live on Playstation Network today. The beta is currently only available to subscribers to the Playstation Plus service, but will be available to all users some time next week.
The multiplayer beta contains two different game modes, “Alliance” and “Wanted”, and two different maps. These maps are set within the city of Rome and in Castel Gandolfo, which lies roughly 15 miles outside Rome.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood continues the story of Ezio Auditore, the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed II and will be available for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 19th. The PC version of the game was recently delayed, and is expected to be released somewhere in 2011.
