Shortly after Nintendo’s fourth (and final) E3 press conference this evening, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed that a port of Fire Emblem: Awakening will be heading stateside for the 3DS. The game saw release in Japan onApril 19th.
Shocking considering we didn’t see the other DS game they remade in Japan. Maybe this is a turn-a-round from the stance that RPGs don’t sell. Guess Operation Rainfall made Reggie realize that you need to have diversity of games and need to not have a software gap.
I like this one because you can have tag team battles, which is very innovative for this series.
