Wreck-It Ralph Preview, Prometheus Review.

I guess I’ll be the counter point to your Prometheus argument. I can’t say that I loved the movie… it is definitely flawed in the plot department, but I can say that I was entertained the entire way through. It had some bold ideas involving god, and what happens when humans are able to be another creatures god (aka creator). Prometheus is definitely a thinking man’s sci-fi movie, reminding me a lot of Moon and Mission To Mars. The CG is flipping incredible, the acting is phenomenal, and the ideas are thought provoking (although they don’t pay off in any way.
I really wish Scott would have gone either more of a prequel route, or would have left all of the alien stuff out. Instead, he kinda sticks to this strange middle ground, having a lot of winks and nods to the original Alien, while kinda ignoring them as a whole.
