Looks like the chances of finding Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on shelves just got even rarer. The Japanese game publisher recently announced that it’s rights to the production company’s stable of characters – which included its publishing rights to the 2010 crossover Wii brawler – had lapsed, with a renegotiation being highly unlikely at this point.
Capcom Senior Vice President Christian Svensson broke the news over at the Capcom Unity forums, stating that, “Our rights with Tatsunoko have lapsed fairly recently (so we’re no longer allowed to sell the title physically or digitally).”
