Activision has confirmed that that it is working with Microsoft to bring The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game to the Xbox One.
This comes after a NeoGAF user spotted that the Xbox One box art had been removed from the game’s official site, and there is no longer any option to pre-order it. Activision hasn’t given a reason for the delay, but confirmed that the Xbox One version has been delayed.
“We want to inform you that we are revising our release plans for ASM2 on Xbox One,” Activision said. “When and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD.”
It has also confirmed to Eurogamer that it is working with Microsoft “in an effort to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game on Xbox One.” For now, the game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS and PC on May 2nd, 2014.
