Halo composer Martin O’Donnell is suing Bungie for failing to pay him for accrued paid time off as well as other benefits, reports VentureBeat.
O’Donnell’s complaint points specifically to Bungie president Harold Ryan, restating that O’Donnell was fired “without cause” and given no explanation for the termination. The suit notes that Ryan and Bungie failed to honor its policy to pay employees accrued but unused vacation time, paid time off, sabbatical time and other benefits.
The lawsuit also notes that O’Donnell has “other grievances against Bungie and Ryan”, which are being pursued in arbitration. However that dispute is not detailed in the lawsuit. O’Donnell is seeking double the damages in the lawsuit.
Ryan denied that O’Donnell was due any relief in his response to O’Donnell’s allegations.
