Sony has announced that a new service will be coming to PlayStation powered by Spotify.
PlayStation Music will not only allow players to stream music, but also have custom background tracks in games on PlayStation 4. Once it launches, PlayStation users will be able to link their accounts to Spotify and use the ad-supported free streaming, or subscribe to the $10 a month premium service for ad-free listening. The service will launch this spring for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xperia Phones and tablets.
PlayStation Music will be replacing Music Unlimited, which Sony says will be ending on March 29th. Active subscribers to Music Unlimited will receive free access to the service up to March 29th.
