Nice review. At some point I need to play this, but there are so many other games to play.
I’m just glad they didn’t mess it up… looks for more fun than my expectations. And while it isn’t a film-game, it does tie in with the release of the movie… so that’d probably make it the first non-shovelware title tied in with a big movie in long while.
I don’t know, Transformers 2 wasn’t bad. Neither was Wolverine.
Wolverine was the rare exception when the game was better than the movie.
Hey, hey! Don’t forget “Chronicles of Riddick.” The difference between the film and game were even more dramatic there!
I loved Butcher Bay, but Assault on Dark Athena made me sad.
Wolverine was tons of fun.
There are a few things about this game that bugs the hell out of me:
-The water fountains that don’t go anywhere
-The Prince’s wall climb after the jump… it didn’t seem right in PoP08 and it feels even worse now.
-The Prince’s Face, how did they screw this up so badly?
All in all, still a good game that sort of addresses the change in tone from the Sands of Time to Warrior Within.
Am I the only one that really liked the art style of PoP08?
I did, but then it was nearly ruined by bad platforming and monotonous combat.
