Soon to be played by Maggie Gyllenhaal?
An odd cinematic choice, considering the biggest complaint against the game being that it already was a movie, but it appears that interactive murder-mystery Heavy Rain could be heading to the silver screen. Deadline is reporting that Unique Pictures, the newest subsidiary studio of New Line executives Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne, are eying the official rights to the IP, putting up their own private funds for Sony’s recent auction of said rights.
