The research team here at Elder-Geek (just imagine scientists in white coats randomly staring at liquid filled beakers and writing down data) has stumbled upon remnants of a journal from the Playstation Network Outage of 2011 and we have decided to release it to the public. They decoded what they could, but most of it was either too illegible or too damaged to decipher. Beware, the following is not for the faint of heart.

Funny how I almost converted to Sony on that same week before it happened.
I have heard a lot of people say that is was all Sony’s fault… and I quickly backhand them with the truth. While Sony did have gaps in their security, this could have (and pretty much has) happened to everyone. XBL, Nintendo, Facebook, Twitter, CIA. If this has tought us anything, it is that net security is a high priority, and internet structure might be changed to prevent things like this happening again.
Yeah. I believe recent events have concluded that anybody can be hacked.
Yep, that’s why I put my ‘Gamer’s Pledge’ on my website. I think this hacking stuff needs to stop, but just as importantly people need to stop blaming the companies for being hacked. It’s horrendous. They are the real victim of the hacking, we’re all just collateral damage, really.
