With over a million units sold in the PS3 Slim’s first month, Sony’s home console brand might be in a position to take a good chunk out of the holiday sales. Sweetening the pot for the more hardcore players is the addition of a new SKU to made available starting November 3rd, fully equipped with a 250GB hard drive. There are no form or functionality differences between it and the 120GB Slim unit, the added hard drive space meant for “the growing consumer appetite for digital content from the PlayStation Network – particularly high-def content that showcases the power of the PS3 system,” according to Sony rep Scott Steinberg.
