With Assassin’s Creed II‘s release date of November 17th approaching, Ubisoft has released the first episode of their live-action short film Assassin’s Creed: Lineage that will reveal some background information about the Assassins of Italy during the renaissance. The story revolves around Giovanni Auditore, the father of Assassin’s Creed II‘s protagonist Ezio. The first episode of this short film can be found after the jump.

Two more episodes have been announced, but it is unclear when they will be released. Assassin’s Creed II is out on November 17th in the United States and November 20th in PAL-regions for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The PC version of the game has been delayed to early 2010.

  1. Ugh, terrible. Boring, awful acting and fails at being historically interesting. And actually, it looks horrible. Cristal clear horrid distastefulness.

  2. It was an alright watch, nothing amazing, but convincing enough.

    This is awesome for people like me who play AC for the storyline, rather than the gameplay.
