Final Fantasy XIII now has a release date. It will be released March 9th in Europe and North America for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The video is a very different way of presenting a games release date and certainly celebrates the history and grandeur that is the series.
When asked John Yamamoto who is the president and chief executive officer for Square Enix, Inc. said “We know that our fans have been eagerly awaiting the next installation of the franchise — FINAL FANTASY XIII will exceed all expectations…Coming simultaneously to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for the first time, FINAL FANTASY XIII will be available to all players who are looking for the most immersive gaming experience of 2010”
Well, I for one can’t wait. And to boot, Europe isn’t getting screwed this time, so I feel happy for them.
Its coming a lot earlier than I thought it would. My girlfriend is going to really enjoy this game.
I was betting on something like June. Glad that I was wrong.
Nice to finally have a date, March 2010 is becoming almost as crowded as January.
Both God Of War III and Final Fantasy XIII in the same month, March is going to be a great month.
