City Interactive has confirmed that Sniper: Ghost Warrior will finally be making its way onto the Playstation 3 on June 28th. The game was released for PC and Xbox 360 in June 2010, but was met with mediocre reviews. The Playstation 3 version of the game will feature several changes to the original, which are detailed further after the jump.
Aside from a new single player mission, a new challenge, and some additional multiplayer maps, the Playstation 3 version of Sniper: Ghost Warrior also includes several new weapons. City Interactive also promised the game would feature improved graphics, and a great number of fixes to issues that plagued the game when it was originally released.
Despite the mediocre reception upon the release, the game went on to sell in excess of a million copies in the first seven months after release.
